We are heading into the final two weeks of the season, and things are about to move FAST & FURIOUS! Please be sure to read ALL the emails that comes your way so you don’t miss any important updates.

Tie Dye Pool Party

Wednesday, July 22 | 6:00–9:00 PM GSW Clubhouse & Pool

When you arrive, please head to the patio to pick up your pre-soaked shirt before making your way to the tie-dye tables. We’ll have instructions, rubber bands, and coaches stationed at the dye stations to help once you’ve banded your shirt.

Please bring either:

• A gallon-size Ziplock bag (recommended), or
• An old grocery bag

Important: Bags CANNOT be brought onto the pool deck. Seriously, we’ll get in trouble! The easiest plan is to leave your bag in your car after you've dye them.

Coin Dive

Our annual Coin Dive is always a swim favorite!

Please bring:

• As many coins as you’d like to donate for the dive.
• A plastic container (an empty Gatorade bottle works great!) for your swimmer to collect coins in the pool.

There will be a large bucket on the pool deck to collect all donated coins before the dive begins.

Food & Treats

• Old City BBQ
• The Drink Shack
• $1 concession items will be offered while our amazing concession crew clears out the concession stand!

Parent vs. Coaches vs. Kids Relay

We’ll wrap up the evening with our legendary Parent vs. Coaches vs. Kids Relay Race! Who will earn bragging rights this year?

If you’d like to participate, please reach out to Joe Mazzitti or Andy Foster to sign up. This has become one of the kids’ favorite events each summer!

Awards Banquet

Sunday, August 3 | 5:00–7:00 PM GSW Clubhouse

Banquet tickets are on sale now! Ticket sales close Wednesday, July 30.

This is our end-of-season celebration where every swimmer is recognized with their famous paper plate award and a team medal. We’ll also introduce the 2027 Gators Board, enjoy dinner, dessert, and celebrate another fantastic season together.

We’ll be serving:

• Publix Catering 
• Dessert
• BYOB

We’ll have tables and chairs set up, but seating can be limited. If you’re able, please bring an extra chair just in case.

Photos:

Please upload your photos to the Google Drive! Just pick one or two of your favorite shots of your child and we’ll be printing them out to use as decorations. You’ll be able to take them home as a keep sake at the end of the banquet.

Coaches’ Gifts

When purchasing your banquet tickets, please consider contributing to our Coaches’ Gift Fund.

Our coaches dedicate countless hours to helping our swimmers improve, grow in confidence, and love the sport. We’d love to show them how much we appreciate everything they’ve done this season!

Both banquet tickets and coach gift contributions are available through the Team Store.

Microwave Needed!

Does anyone have a microwave they’re no longer using?

Our swimmers have gone through an unbelievable number of pretzels this season…and we could really use one!

2027 Gators Board Nominations

Have you enjoyed this summer swim season? Want to help make next year even better?

Each year, a dedicated group of volunteers works from January through the end of the season to make everything run smoothly. We do it because we love summer swim, we love the Gators, and we genuinely have fun doing it.

We’d love to have you join us!

Nominations are due by Tuesday evening, July 21.

You may:

• Nominate yourself, or
• Nominate someone you think would be a great fit.

Voting ballots will be sent out after the Awards Meet, and we’ll introduce the 2027 Gators Board at the Awards Banquet.
