🏊♂️ Meet Info – Monday vs. Kingswood Klams

Location: Kingswood Pool, 100 Red Maple Place, Williamsburg, VA 23185
Parking: Park in the large field in front of the pool area. You may also park along Spring Road — please avoid the Marywood Playground area.
Pool Notes: The pool has only five lanes, so the heat sheet may look a bit different. Swimmers doing 25s will start at the opposite end, so there are two sets of starting blocks. It will all make sense once you see it!

BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY. BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY. BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY. 

Athlete Arrival: 5:00 PM
Greensprings Warm-Ups: 5:30 PM
Seating: We’ll be in the large open area next to the pool. Bring tents if you’d like early shade, though it cools off quickly.
Concessions: Full stand with burgers, hot dogs, nachos, pasta salad, etc. Payment by Venmo, cash, or check.

⛈ Weather Reminder

There’s a chance of rain Monday, but it may taper off before the meet.
All communication will be through email and Facebook,  please don’t text us asking if the meet is on. We promise to keep you updated the moment we know anything.
Assume the meet is ON unless you hear otherwise. If postponed, we’ll aim to reschedule for Tuesday evening.

Volunteer Info

If you're signed up to volunteer, check in with Brittany Ainsley (Volunteer Coordinator) on deck near the Gators’ coach table.

• Officials: Listen for the call for the officials meeting before the meet.
• Timers & Sweeps Judges: Timer meeting typically starts 20 minutes before the meet (~6:00 PM).
• Clerk of Course (First Session): Be ready by 5:50 PM — swimmers begin lining up early!
• Second Session Volunteers: Please switch out after Event 30.
• Scorers/Ribbons: Located in the Kingswood clubhouse, right by the pool.

📝 Meet Prep for Parents

Make sure your swimmer has their event/heat/lane info written on their hand in permanent marker.
Not sure how to do this? Ask a coach during Monday morning practice, they’re happy to help!

📸 Team & Individual Photos – Tuesday Morning

Team Photo: 8:30 AM
What to Wear: Gators suit or an all-black suit
Camp Kids (early practice): May begin individual photos at 8:00 AM

📌 Important Notes:

• Please do not line up at 8AM unless your swimmer is in the camp kids practice.
• Individual photos and sibling photos are welcome, but no friend photos, please! It takes too much time and we want everyone to get a turn.
• Josef will provide instructions for purchasing individual photos once they’re ready.
