Good Day Gators! 

Important updates at the end, so make sure to read like it's summer and you're working for that free personal pizza hut coupon from the library. 

Reminder: PLEASE LET JENNA KNOW ASAP if your swimmers will not be in attendance for Monday's meet. 

Location: Ford's Colony Pool 230 Westbury Hills, Williamsburg, VA 23188

**You will need to use the main gated entrance off Longhill Road, use 101 John Pott Road if you put into your GPS. Let security know you are going to the pool for the swim meet. There will also be signs set out. 

Athlete Arrival: Please arrive by 5PM for warm ups with your swimmer's events written on their hands. If you are at practice on Monday morning, ask a coach for help with this! 

Set Up: No tents for this one, folks. We will set up on the zero entry side of the pool (closest to the pavilion). They have a lot of tables and chairs but you may want to plan to bring some extra chairs just in case. 

Food: The team will have a food truck (FoodaTude) and polar snow on the basketball court along with some light concessions (hot dogs, brats, chips, drinks, candy, etc.) under the pavilion and will take cash or Venmo.

Volunteer Stuff: Ford's Colony has an eight lane pool. Originally we only scheduled enough volunteers for six lanes, so we have quite a few open timing sessions that need to be filled. Please go sign up for one! We also need ONE MORE CLERK OF COURSE for second session. If you have a kid swimming and can help, please do. Many thanks to you all!  Again, we cannot start the meet without all these positions filled - so please sign up in advance to avoid losing time at the start of the meet. 

Aforementioned Important Updates: 

6/17 Meet:  Event 26 Heat 2 did NOT post scores (Girls 11-12 Breaststroke) - we aren't sure why but are working to get those times updated. 

Out of Stock Suits: If you were on the list for the TYR out of stock suits, we are harassing the life out of TYR. If we don't have them by Monday, it will not go well for them. YOU WOULDN'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M ANGRYYYYY.

Ribbons: I forgot to mention this ....the ribbons from each meet are typically available Tuesday morning for kids to pick up out of the ribbon box. The coaches will set out the ribbon box on the pool deck at practice, so ask them if you need any help. If you are missing a ribbon or have any questions about your kid's ribbons - please email [email protected]. Scoring and ribbon printing can be tricky and there are times we don't get it completely right! 

Food Truck: Reminder that our AWESOME PRESIDENT, EILEEN scheduled a food truck for us tonight at the pool! Go get yourselves some Don Chido from 5-7PM!
