Well Helloooo GATOR DOMINATORS,

What a fun meet last night! the close ones are the best! I bet everyone has the late night swim meet hangover, but please still read this communication because it has important information. 

1. Tie Dye Pool Party Event Info

This event is tomorrow (Wednesday 7/19)  from 6-8PM at the GSW Clubhouse. When you arrive, please come to the patio to pick up your pre soaked shirt and then continue on to the tie dye tables. There will be instructions, rubber bands and the coaches will have tie dye stations for you to take your shirts after you band them. Please bring either a gallon size Ziplock (these work best) or an old grocery bag to put your shirts in after they are dyed. WE CANNOT BRING THESE BAGS ON THE POOL DECK, like, AT ALL. Seriously. We will get in trouble. The best thing to do is bring them to your car before going into the pool area for swimming/games. 

COIN DIVE - We always do a coin dive as a game at the pool. Please bring as many coins as you have and a plastic container (like an empy gatorade bottle) for your child(ren) to collect them in the pool during the dive. There will  be a big bucket to dump your coins for the dive on the pool deck. 

Treats: We will have an ice cream style treat for the kids around 7PM, but this is not a dinner event - so eat prior, or after, or not at all...up to you.

2. Awards Meet Info - Saturday, July 22nd

We will be setting up team tents for Awards meet at Ford's Colony the night prior and I will be sending an email with directions, location of our tent and arrival times for each age group this Thursday 7/20. We NEED TIMERS to sign up ASAP, please. Trust me - with as many people that are going to be at this meet, the best place to be is going to be on the pool deck. Please sign up for a shift to time in Swimtopia. I need to get the timer information to Ford's Colony by tomorrow. 

3. Gators Board Nominations

Rob Walk, Gators  President, will be sending out a call for Greensprings Board nominations this week. This email will have descriptions of what we are looking for and information on the nomination process. 

4. Awards Banquet & Coaches' Gifts

Tickets for the Gators Awards Banquet (Sunday, July 30th 5PM-7PM at the GSW Clubhouse) are on SALE NOW. The banquet is when we acknowledge each and every swimmer with paper plate awards AND a team medal. We will handle light team business and announce the 2024 Gators Board. It's a great season wrap up event you won't want to miss.  We will have Little Charlie's Pizza (with gluten free option), Saladworks, dessert and drinks (water, soda, etc.so BYOB adults). Ticket sales will close on Wednesday, July 26th.  If you are able, please also add a gift for our coaches when you purchase your banquet tickets. They put in a lot of time and effort and HOPEFULLY you see how amazing they are by your child's progress this summer! Both items can be purchased at the Team Store:
