**Update** Greetings Gators! Can you believe that swim season is just around the corner! The Gators Board and Coaches have been hard at work to make this season another successful and fun-filled time. If you have friends, grandparents with grandkids, and neighbors new to the neighborhood who may be interested in swimming this summer, or if you know of anyone that missed out on the fun last year, talk to them to about the Gators Swim Team and encourage them to join! 

We will be using the Swimtopia webpage, greenspringsgators.swimtopia.com again this year. This is a great resource to get information and follow your swimmer’s results and times from meets. Information may also be posted to the Greensprings Gators Facebook page as well. If you or someone you know would like to be a sponsor, please contact the Board at [email protected] Additionally, if you would like to volunteer in any special capacity during the season or as an official (Stroke/Turn, Scorers), please let the Board know. We always welcome parents who want to be involved! Swimsuits: Board has voted on black suits with logos, more information to be released as it comes available. 

April 22nd: 6pm-8pm New Family Registration GSW Clubhouse Zoom Link will be provided as well at a later time. 

April 23rd: 4pm to 6pm JOIN US - Coaches, Board Members and any/all Gators for a parade to deliver flyers throughout GSP! COVID guidelines will be followed. We will see you at the GSP Clubhouse/Pool and start from there! Make sure to wear your Gator Gear! 

April 24th 9am to 10am GSW Clubhouse Meet the Coaches Formal Registration and informational meeting offered for new families on April 22nd. This year, we’re working on doing a full online registration through Swimtopia with no need for returning families to visit the clubhouse (unless you want to see us)! 

• Practices are slated to begin after school hours June 1st and will switch to morning practices on June 18th. 

Here is our VPSU Update:

• The Gators will be in the top division again this year with the usual teams – First Colony, Kingswood, Kingsmill, Queenslake, etc. • Ted Lynch is preparing a tentative schedule that VPSU representatives will review. VPSU will be voting on the schedule prior to their next meeting (set for May13th). • A 5 week season is proposed with meets starting June 21st and ending July 19th. Awards will be July 24th and Queen’s Lake will host. The Champs meet will be held at the WISC on Saturday July 31st.
