Dear Gators Families,

As you know, our end-of-the-season Awards Banquet will be Saturday, August 3, the evening of the Awards Meet, from 6pm to 9pm. Every swimmer will receive some recognition, and those who competed in at least three regular-season meets will get trophies. We also give gifts to our hardworking coaches, recognize sponsors and especially helpful volunteers, and elect the board.

This year we are handling banquet payments and contributions to coaches’ gifts online. Go to https://greenspringsgators.swimtopia.com/ and click on the “Shop” tab, where you will find both the banquet and the coaches’ gift in our online store. You need to do this by 5pm Tuesday, July 30, so that we can get a headcount and organize the gift.

Some additional details:

Banquet — Food will be catered by Sal’s. Prices are $7.50 or $5.50 depending on age. There are no tickets; we will record your online purchase and put you on the guest list.

Coaches’ gifts — Our eight coaches put in countless hours not just on the pool deck but in planning and preparing for meets and other events. One way we recognize their dedication and hard work is by presenting them with a team gift in the form of a cash bonus. Family names of those who contribute will go in the coaches’ cards. Thank you for your support in recognizing our awesome coaching staff.
